DESCRIPTION:Join the Nature Conservancy and partners at Halyburton Park for a fun\, free day to check out live raptors and other animals\, hayrides\, face painting and crafts\, Smokey Bear\, fire trucks\, bull dozers\, and over 40 interactive booths. \nLearn why our “fire forests” thrive when we add fire back\, helping plants and animals such as Venus flytraps and black bears thrive. Eat at one of the many delicious food trucks. At the end of the day you can see a controlled burn in the pine forest.
