The Christmas Bird Count is held each year by the Audubon Society as a community science project measuring bird populations during migration. There are several “circles” where the Christmas Bird Count happens and the Everett Creek Preserve is inside the Camp Lejeune circle.

We will be at Everett Creek Preserve in Sneads Ferry NC on Saturday, December 17th from 7:00 am – 10:00 am.

*This is not a volunteer opportunity*

We will be collecting data that will go towards the circle data for Camp Lejeune.

Bird enthusiasts of all ages and levels are welcome to come join.  You will need a pair of binoculars, a notebook, pen/pencil and to dress for outdoor weather.
