Join our team! The Coastal Land Trust is currently seeking to fill two upcoming vacant Resilience Corps NC positions.
These 2024-2025 AmeriCorps positions will have a start date of September 4th 2024 and an end date of July 31st 2025. Deadline to apply is June 14th 2024, and applications will be considered on a rolling basis. Don’t delay in applying!
Available positions:
AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator & Stewardship Assistant
This position will assist the Stewardship Department with conservation easement monitoring, land management and habitat restoration, landowner outreach and writing conservation management plans. This position will also lead the volunteer coordination/program for the Coastal Land Trust. This position will assist with providing and expanding public access opportunities at select Coastal Land Trust preserves. This position will also assist the Coastal Land Trust staff in a variety of other activities related to land stewardship, conservation outreach, environmental education and special events, as well as organize and lead hikes for the public.

AmeriCorps Environmental Educator
This position will assist the Environmental Education Coordinator in implementing the Coastal Land Trust’s environmental education program, which consists of 3 curricula related to coastal plain habitats. The Educator will lead programs in classrooms as well as lead field trips at select conservation properties. This position will update, write, and edit education materials based on CLT’s curricula. This position will research and identify additional potential partners. This position will lead community outreach opportunities such as Earth Day and Sustainability days. This position will help host environmental education events such as Fire in the Pines, Pollinator Palooza, and Flytrap Frolic. This position will also assist the Coastal Land Trust staff in a variety of other activities related to land stewardship, conservation outreach, and special events, as well as organize and lead hikes for the public.
