Birding at Seagate Woods
April 30, 2017 @ 7:00 am - 11:00 am
Sea Gate Woods Birding Trip
7am – 11am
Come enjoy a spring morning at Sea Gate Woods as the forest comes alive with bird song! Join us as we search for colorful warblers in one of North Carolina’s rarest natural communities—a nonriverine wet hardwood forest or oak flat. Expert naturalist, John Fussell – author of A Birder’s Guide to Coastal North Carolina – will guide us on this 1 to 1.5 mile leisurely hike.
Please note that this is a first-come, first serve trip (cut off about 15 people)!
Email Jesica@CoastalLandTrust.org to reserve your spot. She will give you more info and directions.
Please note:
Wear appropriate footwear (hiking shoes – no open toe sandals or flip flops).
This is a rough trail, approximate 1-2 miles
Bring sunscreen, water, and bugspray!
