Cape Fear Creek Week at Brunswick Nature Park

NEW DATE: April 6th from 9am – 11am.
Join us as we celebrate Cape Fear Creek Week! The Coastal Land Trust will have an educational hike at Brunswick Nature Park in Brunswick County. This hike will focus on Town Creek, saltwater intrusion, and human impacts on our waterways. This event is a part of the New Hanover County Creek Week. Water and snacks will be provided for participants. Participants will also receive parking directions after signing up.

Cape Fear Creek Week provides opportunities for the community to connect with, celebrate, and care for the local waterways of the Cape Fear Region. Creek Week is held March 18-23, 2024 with educational presentations, nature hikes, and more.
Cape Fear Creek Week is a collaboration between N.C. Cooperative Extension, City of Wilmington’s Heal our Waterways, Cape Fear River Watch, NC Coastal Land Trust, New Hanover County Soil and Water Conservation District, Alliance for Cape Fear Trees, and NC Coastal Federation.
