Join us as we celebrate the new year in nature! On January 20th, visit the Everett Creek Preserve for our New Year, New Trail event. We will provide scavenger hunts to all visitors to help guide your exploration of the longleaf pine ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to experience a preserve that is newly open to visitors for one day each month. Come explore a trail that is new to you!

This is a special edition of our monthly Open Hike days at Everett Creek Preserve!

We’re excited to open up Everett Creek Preserve in Sneads Ferry once a month for anyone to come on in and explore this wonderful property! You will be able to explore the trail system, observe longleaf restoration, and discover native pollinator gardens. Staff will be there, but this is your chance to hike as you please – no staff-led hikes or lectures. Make sure you bring snacks, water, and layers.
