Pollinator Palooza highlights the importance of pollinators in nature and our food supply.

On April 29th, the Coastal Land Trust will host a free community event at our Wilmington office to offer activities and information on pollinators and native plants.

This year we will partner with the NC Agricultural Extension Service who will do presentations on native plants and pollinators, and participants will receive free native plant seeds and plant their seeds with pots we provide.

In addition to the April 29 event, all throughout April (which is NC Science month) we conduct workshops with elementary afterschool programs in New Hanover County, and this year the program is expanding this year to cover all Onslow County elementary schools!
