Time:
9-11 Trail Work

Everett Creek Preserve is behind Dixon Elementary School in Holly Ridge, NC, Onslow County.  Pass the elementary school on Betty Dixon road and keep driving a few hundred yards through the gate to the preserve.

It takes about an hour to get there, so we suggest leaving Wilmington around 7:45 or 8am.

What: 9-11 Trail Work:  We will be doing trail maintenance at our Everett Creek Nature Preserve. This will include removal of branches, leaves, or any obstructions on the trail. We will also be clearing out a campsite, which will include removal of branches, small shrubs, and raking.

What to bring: Water bottle, garden hand tool (if already owned), bagged lunch (optional)

What to wear: We require long pants and close-toed shoes. We suggest long sleeves, gloves, and a hat

If you do not have everything in the suggested things to bring and wear, the Coastal Land Trust will provide: Gloves, hand tools, water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, first aid kit
