Due to the amount of rain expected, volunteer day is cancelled to protect the integrity of the trails, which are vulnerable when soaking wet

We’re seeking volunteers to assist in trail maintenance at Ev-Henwood Nature Preserve on Saturday, March 2nd from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Ev-Henwood is a beautiful UNCW-owned Nature Preserve in Brunswick County where the Coastal Land Trust holds a conservation easement! We will be using hand clippers, loppers, and rakes to improve the quality of the trails as well as picking up any trash we see.

We suggest wearing long pants and closed-toed shoes, and bringing sunscreen and bug spray. Tools will be provided but feel free to bring your own. We’ll also provide water and snacks for all volunteers, but bring a refillable water bottle if you have one.
