On Saturday, March 26th, the Coastal Land Trust will have a workday at Reaves Chapel. Volunteers will clear vegetation at the original Reaves Chapel Cemetery. This work will help continue to preserve part of the history of the Gullah Geechee, and their descendants, who lived and worked on the West Bank of the Cape Fear River generations ago.
