Volunteer Day: Reaves Chapel and Cedar Hill Cemetery

The Coastal Land Trust is seeking volunteers for a work day at the historic Reaves Chapel on Saturday, January 3rd from 9 am to 11 am. Volunteers will clear paths and do maintenance on the historic Cedar Hill Cemetery as well as complete some landscaping and maintenance projects surrounding Reaves Chapel itself.
All volunteers will meet at Reaves Chapel, 2024 Cedar Hill Road NE in Navassa, Brunswick County, NC. Both groups will be using hand tools to do maintenance, trimming, tree planting, etc. All tools will be provided as well as gloves, snacks, and water. Volunteers may bring their own tools if they prefer.
There will be bathroom access at the Chapel. For those working in the cemetery, there is not immediate bathroom access. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
