Join us for our monthly Open Hike weekend on October 17 & 18 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Everett Creek Preserve in Onslow County. Come on in and explore this wonderful property! You will be able to explore the trail system of natural, unpaved trails of various lengths, observe longleaf restoration areas, and discover pollinator gardens. Staff will be there to open the gates, but this is your chance to hike as you please – no guided hikes or lectures. Dogs are not allowed at this Preserve. Make sure you bring snacks, water, and layers.

Please email Bryce Tholen with any questions: bryce@coastallandtrust.org.

October 17 is also Great Trail State Day! As a member of the Great Trails State Coalition, the Coastal Land Trust invites you to explore Everett Creek Preserve. The Great Trails State Coalition is a broad-based group of diverse organizations, agencies, and supporters advocating for increased state investment in all types of trails statewide: hiking, paddle, mountain biking, equestrian, and paved.
