Oakhurst Nature Park – Jacksonville

The Coastal Land Trust partnered with Onslow County in 2001 to protect 250 acres of land along the New River and the Blue Creek tributary in Jacksonville. In May of 2004, Oakhurst Nature Park was officially opened to the public. The park hosts two short nature trails and a canoe/kayak launch area.
