Marlo Brooks, our new Business Director, is a native of Boston. She relocated to Wilmington in 2020 and joined the Coastal Land Trust in September, 2021. Spending summers on Cape Cod, going to college on the shores of Rhode Island, and now living in beautiful Wilmington, Marlo has a deep appreciation for coastal environments, and a deep love of all the things that thrive here.
Marlo’s background is in resource management, with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Rhode Island and a master’s in Counseling from Salve Regina University. She is a Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM®) from the Project Management Institute. Prior to joining the Coastal Land Trust, Marlo spent 13 years as Assistant Dean at the College of Art and Design at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
In addition to creative endeavors, Marlo is a passionate animal lover, especially dogs, and spends as much time as possible out walking the beautiful trails preserved by the Coastal Land Trust with her buddy Rudy.
